2024 BMW Weekend Series
(Running and Walking Events)
Experience more of Dallas with the 2024 BMW Weekend Series! Participants can take part in events on both Saturday, December 14th and Sunday, December 15th. Run or walk events on both days to earn a bonus medal and swag! To participate, choose any combination of events on both Saturday and Sunday of race weekend to complete the series. Those who complete the series will earn an additional bonus medal and a custom Asics finisher jacket!

Marathon, Half Marathon, Half Marathon Walk & Ultra Marathon (50K)
The cornerstone of BMW Dallas Marathon Festival, the BMW Dallas Marathon, Half Marathon, Half Marathon Walk and 50K Ultra Marathon courses begin and end in Downtown Dallas and highlights the best areas of our beautiful city. Along the way, runners and walkers will pass through various popular neighborhoods with exciting cheer stations and on-course entertainment before finishing the race at Dallas City Hall Plaza!

Shell Energy Relays
The concept is simple and a lot of fun: a 2-person half marathon or a 5-person full marathon relay, run by teams of runners. This race is perfect for team building or for those wishing to participate in event weekend at a shorter distance!

EIGHT K, 5K, 5K Team, 5K Walk & Kid’s 100M Dash
Start your race weekend off by joining us Saturday, December 14th! Part of the BMW Dallas Marathon Festival weekend, these events will start & finish in Downtown Dallas, providing great views of the city. Whether a shakeout run for Sunday or to experience the joy of participating in Marathon weekend at a shorter distance, these events are the perfect way to start the weekend off right.

Oncor Kid’s Race
Thanks to Oncor, all DISD elementary, middle and high school students can take part in either a 1-mile or 2-mile run/walk event complimentary!
